Description

Ferghettina’s Franciacorta Extra Brut (2017) is a Franciacorta DOCG cuvée crafted mainly from the estate’s older vineyards. The blend is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir; the wine spends extended time on the lees (about 84 months) and is finished with a 2 g/l dosage. It shows a golden-yellow hue, a fine persistent mousse and aromas of almond, vanilla and candied fruit. The style is delicate yet long on the finish.
