Description

The Serpico 2017 from Feudi di San Gregorio is an Irpinia Aglianico DOC made solely from Aglianico grapes grown in the centuries-old “Dal Re” vineyard in Taurasi. After alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, the wine matures for about 18 months in French oak barriques and 50 hl barrels, followed by further bottle ageing. It is a structured, site-driven red that reflects the mineral and volcanic-sandy soils of the Irpinia area.
