Description

Firraru takes the Sicilian name for a blacksmith and connects it to a black-soiled parcel at Feudo Maccari, in the Noto area. Bush-trained Grillo grows here among limestone, clay and a pronounced iron-rich component, in a bright vineyard reached by sea breezes. This Family and Friends selection explores a broader, more structured expression of the grape, with work divided between stainless steel and small wooden vessels, followed by oak maturation. Citrus, vanilla and toasted cinnamon shape the aromatic profile, while the palate is enveloping, supported by fine texture and substantial structure.
