Description

Fiorenzo Nada’s Barbaresco Rombone is made from Nebbiolo (Lampia) vines planted in the Rombone site of Treiso. It shows a bright garnet-red colour, complex aromas and a savory, warm palate supported by present yet elegant tannins that will refine with age. The wine is aged roughly 24 months in oak followed by several months in bottle; adequate oxygenation before serving is recommended. Typical pairings include roasts and braises, game, truffle dishes and mature cheeses.
