Bricco Appiani Langhe Rosso by Flavio Roddolo is a red from the Langhe area around Monforte d’Alba. It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon in single-varietal form and shows an intense ruby colour with aromas of ripe red and black fruit, plus vegetal and tobacco hints. On the palate it displays clear structure and firm tannins, supported by a marked freshness and savory character. The wine’s tannic backbone makes it suitable for further ageing.
