Description

Fontaine-Gagnard's Bourgogne Passetoutgrains comes from the Les Saugeots lieu-dit, on southwest-facing clay-limestone soils. Its blend brings together equal parts Pinot Noir and Gamay, distinguishing it from the estate's reds made solely from Pinot Noir. Winemaking follows the domaine's method, with indigenous yeasts and maturation in oak. The wine shows woodland-undergrowth aromas and a fresh, light, fruity palate intended to be appreciated in youth. Its identity therefore combines its place of origin with the meeting of two grape varieties within the estate's Burgundy production.
