Clos des Murées is a Fontaine-Gagnard monopole classified as Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru. Its Chardonnay comes from the Les Murées lieu-dit, a southeast-facing parcel enclosed by low stone walls. The ground is stony, with little soil, a central feature of this vineyard's identity. Winemaking follows the estate's approach, with indigenous-yeast fermentation and maturation in oak barrels. The wine has a floral profile and a delicate, harmonious palate.
