Areas de Arra is a Forjas del Salnés Albariño from a century-old vineyard on the dunes of Arra, in Montalvo-Sanxenxo. The sea lies only about fifty metres away, and a deep layer of sand gives this parcel a distinctive setting. The 2017 is the cuvée's first vintage: according to the importer's sheet, the wine matures in a large foudre before continuing its rest in bottle. The described profile combines mineral and floral notes with firm acidity, leading to a saline, energetic finish that accompanies its coastal identity.
