Description

Manfredi Grecanico belongs to the project that brought Manfredi Franco back to Marsala to pursue winegrowing. His decision to highlight Grecanico forms part of a broader commitment to traditional Sicilian varieties planted in an old vineyard acquired by the producer. Working with the support of Vincenzo Angileri, he favours spontaneous fermentation, indigenous yeasts and restrained sulphite use. Rather than following a standardised formula, the wine reflects an artisanal undertaking centred on its place of origin, the estate’s intimate scale and an agricultural approach intended to respect the surrounding natural environment.
