Collio Chardonnay

Description

Toros Chardonnay comes from Novali, in the municipality of Cormons and the Collio denomination. The vineyard landscape is characterised by layered marl and sandstone, influenced by the Julian Prealps and the nearby Adriatic. Vines are trained to Guyot and harvesting is manual. The grapes are gently pressed, then vinified as a white wine at controlled temperature. Its straw colour has green reflections, while fruity and floral suggestions combine on the nose. The palate is balanced and structured, with persistence accompanying the character of Chardonnay grown in the hills around Gorizia.
