Description

Toros Merlot Etichetta Rossa comes from Novali, in the municipality of Cormons, using Merlot grapes grown in Collio. The vines are trained to Guyot and harvested by hand. Winemaking involves prolonged skin maceration, regular pumping over and temperature control; the process includes time in oak. Its deep ruby colour accompanies a profile of small woodland berries and jam, with toasted and vanilla nuances. The selection focuses on the character of Merlot from the hills around Gorizia, in an expression distinct from the estate’s wine carrying the pale label.
