Munjebel CR is Frank Cornelissen's Nerello Mascalese from the Campo Re vineyard near Randazzo, on Etna's northern slope: ungrafted vines about eighty years old at 735 metres. Like the other crus of the series it rests 18 months in fibreglass and 18 in bottle. The 2021 is juicy and elegant, with small red fruits, spice and mineral notes.
