Description

Frank Cornelissenā€™s MunJebel Rosso CS is a singleā€‘parcel Etna red made from 100% Nerello Mascalese harvested in the Chiusa Spagnolo section of the Zottorinoto vineyard. The vineyard was planted around 1925 at about 620 m altitude; vinification includes extended skin contact and maturation in large neutral tanks followed by further bottle aging. The wine is marketed either as Etna Rosso DOP or, in some cases, as IGP Terre Siciliane; annual production is small and it is available in multiple bottle sizes.
