Description

Munjebel Rosso P (cuvée Perpetuum) is a non-vintage red produced by Frank Cornelissen on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. It is a perpetual cuvée made from 100% Nerello Mascalese; fermentation begins with a pied-de-cuve and the wine undergoes roughly 50 days of skin contact. The wine is aged for several years in a neutral (epoxy) tank before additional bottle aging; it is labeled as Vino Rosso and is produced in limited quantities (approximately 2,500 bottles).
