Description

Franz Hirtzberger’s Riesling Smaragd Singerriedel is a white wine made from Riesling grapes grown in the Ried Singerriedel, one of the Wachau’s noted single vineyards. It is produced in the Smaragd style, the Wachau classification for dry, concentrated wines with greater body. The steep terraces of Singerriedel, on gneiss-and-schist soils, contribute pronounced mineral character and precise aromatics.
