Description
Frescobaldi’s Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is produced at the Tenuta CastelGiocondo estate in Montalcino from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes. The wine displays a deep ruby red colour and a layered aromatic profile featuring floral notes (violet, wild rose), red and wild berries, and spicy hints that develop into tertiary aromas of tea, tobacco and coffee. On the palate it is fresh, rounded and tannic, with ripe tannins and a long, persistent finish. The wine is aged in wood and receives additional bottle ageing before release.
