Description

Frescobaldi’s Giramonte comes from Tenuta Castiglioni, where southwest-facing clay soils lie at around two hundred metres above sea level. Merlot and Sangiovese form this Tuscan red, linked to an estate with a long history of winegrowing. For the 2021 vintage, grapes were selected by hand and alcoholic fermentation took place spontaneously in stainless steel, with gentle pumping over. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent maturation occurred in new French oak barriques. The profile combines berries, plum and cocoa with a broad, soft and velvety texture, supported by a persistent finish on the palate.
