Description

Luce 2021 is a blend of Merlot and Sangiovese from the Tuscan estate. Fermentation takes place in concrete with skin maceration, while malolactic fermentation and subsequent maturation occur in barriques. The wine spends two years in oak before bottling. Its deep ruby colour accompanies dark-fruit aromas, particularly blackberry and mulberry, with suggestions of violet and sweet spices. On the palate, breadth and a silky tannic texture are held together by balance and persistence. The finish returns to the spicy nuances and richness of the fruit.
