Description
Lux Vitis approaches Montalcino through Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in a small Tenuta Luce vineyard planted in 2004 on mixed sandy soils. A small proportion of Sangiovese completes the blend. The project took shape with its first harvest in 2015, following years spent observing the vines and the quality of their fruit. Maturation in new French oak barriques forms part of the estate’s pursuit of elegance. Production is limited, centred on three hectares of Cabernet and a distinctive interpretation of the Montalcino landscape through these two varieties.
