Description

Frescobaldi’s Rialzi 2022 (Tenuta Perano) is a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione made from Sangiovese grown on vineyards at about 500 m above sea level. The wine undergoes roughly 36 months of ageing, including about 24 months in barriques, followed by additional bottle ageing. Aromatically it shows sour cherry and blackberry fruit, floral notes of dog rose and tertiary hints of coffee and tobacco. On the palate it is full-bodied with soft, silky tannins and a long, persistent finish.
