Description

G.D. Vajra’s 2022 Barolo Coste di Rose is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grown in the Coste di Rose MGA in the commune of Barolo. The vineyard’s sandy Arenarie di Diano soils contribute aromas of cherry and rose petal with hints of mint and sweet spice. On the palate it is elegant and fresh, with silky tannins and a mineral drive that supports the fruit. The wine’s structure and balance suggest it will benefit from some bottle aging to reach its optimal harmony.
