Conteisa is Gaja's Barolo made from Nebbiolo grown in the Cerequio vineyard at La Morra. The south-facing site has clay-limestone soils with marl and sand. Its name recalls the historic dispute over Cerequio between La Morra and Barolo. This cuvée represents a single vineyard in the Barolo area, distinct from Gaja's wines produced in Barbaresco.
