Description
Rossj-Bass 2024 combines Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in Barbaresco, Serralunga d'Alba and Trezzo Tinella. Its name links Rossana Gaja's nickname with the lower hillside position of one of the original parcels. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by maturation combining steel and oak. The vintage sheet describes mango, vegetal and smoky nuances, red citrus and a resinous finish. The palate is rich on entry, then fresh and savoury, with good persistence. It is a white wine that brings a personal interpretation of two international varieties to the family's Piedmontese history.
