Description

The Geltz‑Zilliken Riesling Auslese Saarburger Rausch is a sweet Riesling from the Saarburger Rausch single vineyard in the Saar area of the Mosel. It shows concentrated aromas of ripe and exotic fruit, honey and subtle floral notes of lily and rose, with a pronounced slate/diabase mineral core. Lively acidity balances the sweetness and provides structure; the wine is matured in large neutral fuder barrels that help preserve varietal purity.
