Description

Geoffroy’s Expression is a Premier Cru Champagne bringing together Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay from the Grande Vallée de la Marne. The base harvest is joined by a perpetual reserve begun in the 1970s. Grapes are picked and selected by hand; separate vinification by parcel uses enamelled-steel tanks, while part of the reserves rests in oak. The profile recalls stewed apple and vanilla. The attack is fine, with a broad presence of fruit and a fresh finish. Blending different harvests is a central element in the cuvée’s identity.
