Description

Les Hautes Chèvres is Georges Laval's Blanc de Noirs from old Meunier vines in Cumières. The parcels occupy the upper part of the slope on clay and limestone soils, with plantings dating from the 1930s through the 1970s. Organic farming continues the work begun by Georges Laval and carried forward by Vincent. The base wines ferment and mature in oak barrels before ageing in bottle. The absence of dosage maintains the cuvée's Brut Nature approach, built around its precise origin, the heritage of old vines and careful handling of the fruit.
