Georges Remy’s Les Hauts Clos 2020 is a pure Pinot Noir Champagne from a single parcel in the Grand Cru of Bouzy. The vines were planted in 1960 by the producer’s grandfather, linking the cuvée to the family history of the vineyard. Vinification uses oak, and tirage for the 2020 took place in July 2021. The absence of dosage accompanies an interpretation centred on origin and grape variety. The wine belongs to Remy’s parcel-focused work, farming his vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and vinifying their different origins separately.
