Description

Les Grandes Côtes from Pierre Gerbais is an Extra Brut cuvée made in the Côte des Bar (Celles‑sur‑Ource), vinified solely from Pinot Noir grown in the Les Grandes Côtes lieu‑dit. It is presented as a non‑vintage (NV) Blanc de Noirs that aims to express the kimmeridgian limestone character of the site. The style is dry and vertical, with notes of fresh fruit, bready autolysis and mineral tension. Works well with flavorful fish, shellfish and delicate white meats.
