Description

Cerretta broadens Giacomo Conterno's interpretation of Serralunga d'Alba. The parcels purchased by Roberto Conterno in 2008 have clay-rich soils and a predominantly western exposure, distinguishing this origin from Francia and Arione. Nebbiolo undergoes extended fermentation and maceration in wooden vats before lengthy maturation in large casks. Precise selection and patience in the cellar are central to the family's approach. The resulting Barolo maintains a clearly defined vineyard identity within a range rooted in traditional winemaking and intended to develop over time, with the individual site taking precedence over a uniform estate style.
