The Valtellina Superiore Grumello “San Martino” from Giorgio Gianatti is produced in the Grumello subzone (Montagna in Valtellina). It is made from 100% Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca); technical information indicates a period of grape drying followed by maturation in small oak casks before bottling. The wine is labelled Valtellina Superiore DOCG, vintage 2021.
