The Giant Steps Sexton Vineyard Chardonnay 2019 is a single‑site, single‑varietal white made from Chardonnay fruit grown at the Sexton Vineyard in Gruyere, Yarra Valley (Victoria, Australia). The 2019 vintage was hand‑picked, whole‑bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in 500L French puncheons, then matured for about eight months in French oak (10% new) with no malolactic fermentation. The wine displays a fresh, mineral character with citrus and white‑fleshed fruit notes framed by lively acidity, suitable for near‑term drinking and short‑term cellaring.
