Gilles Berlioz's Les Christine is a Chignin-Bergeron Roussanne within the work of Domaine Partagé in Chignin. The estate began in 1990 and started organic conversion in 1999, subsequently moving towards biodynamics. White-wine production involves slow, gentle pressing of whole bunches, followed by fermentation and maturation in fibreglass vessels. These include horizontal egg-shaped containers, encouraging the natural movement of the lees. The Domaine Partagé name refers to collaboration with the people who contribute to the project and to caring for its Savoie vineyards.
