Description
La Quinta is Giodo’s Sangiovese named after the fifth vineyard planted by Carlo Ferrini in Montalcino. The Rosso Toscana project began in 2011 and adopted this name on its label from the 2018 harvest. The vineyard lies at approximately 400 metres, with a southeastern exposure and soils rich in clay and pebbles. The wine is conceived as a direct expression of the territory, standing alongside the Brunello while maintaining elegance and a more immediate character. Pure Sangiovese and its relationship with the vineyard remain at the centre of the project.
