Description

Riserva Franzisca is a Cannonau di Sardegna DOC produced by Giovanni Montisci in Mamoiada, Sardinia, made from very old bush-trained vines. The Riserva is produced in limited quantities and is typically aged for about two years in large oak casks before bottling. It presents full body, firm tannins and aromas of ripe red fruit and spice; the wine’s name is a dedication to the winemaker’s wife.
