Description

San Lorenzo interprets a contrada in Randazzo on Etna’s northern slope, where vineyards extend between approximately 700 and 800 metres over ancient volcanic soils. Nerello Mascalese, accompanied by a small proportion of Nerello Cappuccio, gives this origin a voice through enveloping structure and dense yet finely textured tannins. Blackberry, plum and currant form the aromatic core, crossed by spice, mineral suggestions, herbs and hints of leather. The selection focuses on the depth of its particular site, while retaining a silky, layered character in the texture and progression of the palate.
