Giuseppe Gorelli's Brunello di Montalcino comes from the Canalicchio area, north of Montalcino, at about 340 metres on clay soils rich in galestro. It ferments spontaneously with native yeasts in Slavonian oak vats and ages at least 36 months in casks of various sizes. The 2020 is broad and juicy, with ripe cherry, small red berries and balsamic notes.
