This Barolo comes from Vigna Santo Stefano within the Perno vineyard area of Monforte d'Alba, offering a different perspective from the Mascarello family's Castiglione Falletto wines. Selected Michet Nebbiolo undergoes traditional floating-cap fermentation before maturation in Slavonian oak casks. The estate emphasises intensely fruity aromas, a full body and a balanced structure. Vinifying the vineyard separately preserves its individual character within the range. For serving, the producer recommends red meat, game and mature cheeses, dishes that match the wine's substance while leaving room for its vineyard expression and development in the glass.
