Vigna Santo Stefano Dolcetto comes from Perno, a hamlet of Monforte d'Alba, where the Mascarello family farms a site distinct from its Castiglione Falletto parcels. Selected grapes ferment at controlled temperatures with traditional floating-cap maceration, followed by a period of rest in concrete. The estate describes a deep ruby wine with vinous, fruity and floral aromas, a dry palate, good body and a characteristic bitter note. Its table-friendly character suits soups, first courses and white meat particularly well, while maintaining a clear connection to both the Dolcetto variety and its individual vineyard origin.
