Description

Giuseppe Quintarelli’s Rosso Ca del Merlo 2018 is a Veneto IGT red made from a blend of native varieties (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella) and international grapes. Part of the fruit is partially dried and the wine is matured for an extended period in large oak casks, producing concentrated fruit and firm tannic structure. The cuvée is dominated by Corvina/Corvinone and Rondinella, with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Croatina, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese completing the blend. It pairs well with red meats and hearty dishes and shows clear aging potential.
