Description

Produced by Golan Heights Winery under the Yarden label, this Merlot is made from grapes grown in the Odem vineyard on the Golan plateau in the Galilee region. It is a medium- to full-bodied red wine showing red and dark fruit characters with a distinct earthy minerality linked to the volcanic soils. In multiple vintages it is offered as a single-vineyard Odem wine grown at high altitude, which contributes freshness and structure. Oak aging is commonly part of the wine’s vinification in various bottlings.
