Description

Quota 1000 Contrada Barbabecchi by GRACI is a red wine from the namesake vineyard on Etna’s north‑eastern slope, harvested at about 1,000–1,100 m above sea level and vinified as a red. Because the vineyard sits on the edge (but outside) of the Etna DOC, the wine is marketed under the Terre Siciliane IGT designation. Winemaking involves extended skin maceration and long ageing in large oak casks (around 36 months); aromas include red berries, Mediterranean herbs and mineral notes, with fine tannins and a long finish on the palate.
