Description

Grattamacco’s L’Alberello 2022 is a red Toscana IGT from the estate in Castagneto Carducci. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Cabernet Franc (30%) from head-trained (alberello) vines farmed organically; the wine is co-fermented and aged 18 months in small oak barrels. The wine shows an intense ruby colour and balsamic, spicy aromatic notes that gain depth with barrel ageing.
