Description

Bianco Breg is an amber-hued white made from a blend of Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Riesling Italico grown in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia area. The wine is produced with extended macerations—often in buried amphorae—and then ages for several years in large oak casks. Aromas include dried fruit and dried apricot, orange peel, aromatic herbs and spice; on the palate it is warm, structured and marked by a tannic texture that is unusual for a white wine. Suited to richer seafood dishes, savory preparations and mature cheeses.
