R11 is Gravner's Riserva selection of the 2011 Ribolla, made by choosing fruit at harvest for an even longer maturation process. The letter R identifies this special interpretation, produced only in vintages considered suitable. Buried Georgian amphorae and skin contact belong to the same exploration that defines the estate's Ribolla, while this selection extends the subsequent wait in oak and bottle. The importer describes greater density and depth, with an especially pronounced savoury dimension. Time, together with the selection of grapes, distinguishes its identity within Gravner's work with this historic local variety.
