Description

Josko Gravner’s 2011 Sauvignon is a single-varietal white from the Oslavia/Collio area, released under the Venezia Giulia IGT designation. Grapes from the Pusca vineyard underwent extended skin contact in buried Georgian amphorae, followed by aging in large neutral Slavonian casks and prolonged bottle rest. The 2011 vintage is notable as the final one in which Gravner consistently produced wines from international varieties before shifting focus to indigenous grapes.
