Polish Hill Riesling

Description

Polish Hill is Grosset’s Riesling from its namesake Clare Valley vineyard, selected and planted by Jeffrey Grosset in 1996. The certified organic and biodynamic site rests on ancient blue slate, covered by thin layers of silt and shale above clay and gravel. These demanding conditions require hands-on work adapted to the vigour of each vine. Three Riesling clones, two German and one local, make up the planting. The project therefore focuses closely on the particular qualities of the site and the individual care of its vines.
