Description

Prohibition Zero takes Guiborat beyond its familiar Chardonnay world in the Côte des Blancs. The cuvée is made entirely from Meunier grown in Mardeuil, in the Vallée de la Marne, from old vines in Les Châtaigniers and Les Carrés du Midi. Richard and Karine Fouquet chose to vinify this fruit themselves in order to explore its potential. Winemaking combines stainless steel with a portion of wood while maintaining a focus on freshness; the Zero version is released without dosage. Its interest lies in a different grape and origin interpreted with the precision that guides the estate's work.
