Description

Gulfi’s NeroBufaleffj (2019) is a red wine made from Nero d’Avola grapes grown in the Bufaleffi vineyard near Pachino in the Val di Noto. Production includes extended skin maceration and roughly two years of maturation in 500 L barrels, followed by at least one year in bottle. The wine shows an intense ruby hue with violet highlights and aromas of red fruit, blackberry and subtle vanilla. On the palate it is structured, elegant and long-lasting, well suited to red meats and mature cheeses.
