Description

Nyxteri is a white wine from Santorini made solely from Assyrtiko grown in Megalochori. Hand-harvested grapes undergo cold maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeasts; the wine is matured for about 12 months in French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered. Bright golden in color, it offers aromas of ripe stone fruit and lemon peel, a full-bodied palate and a mineral finish; pairs well with shellfish, white meats and mature cheeses.
