Description

Henri Boillot's Bâtard-Montrachet comes from Chardonnay cultivated in a small holding within this Grand Cru, shared by the villages of Puligny and Chassagne. A southeasterly exposure and soils combining clay and limestone provide the vineyard's enduring foundations. At the Meursault cellar, Henri concentrates particularly on white wines and the definition of individual terroirs, seeking purity, tension and elegance. Oak maturation accompanies the Chardonnay's development while the identity of its origin remains central. This cuvée brings together the stature of a major vineyard and the Boillot family's precise, hands-on approach.
